When you purchase a sewing or overlock machine from us, you get free machine instruction classes for the life of your machine. Check the newsletter for times and days. We also offer a Sit-Sew and Share class. This is where we help each other with projects, inspire each other, eat treats, share what we've made, and enjoy each others company. Our sewing club meets Tuesday mornings 10a.m. to Noon (some mornings reserved for machine instruction classes, check the newsletter) and evenings 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Lamp Repair
Yes! We also repair and service Lamps. Need new wireing? A new plug? We can make you lamp like new.
Host Dry Carpet Cleaning
Rent the best carpet cleaning system around. This system uses no water, and is biodegradable. Safe for all types of carpert, including wool, sisal, and orientals. Spots won't wick back. Safe for people and pets. $12.95 for 24 hrs., or free usage with purchase of a vacuum.
Scissor and Knife Sharpening
Many sewers and chefs bring their scissors and knives to be sharpened at Tanner's. We do such a good job that we warn you to keep the bandaids close at hand.

Don't let your machines get like this. If you sew 10 hours a week, it should be serviced at least once a year. Vacuums should be serviced once a year, unless you have pets, then every 6 months.
