Children will learn to safely operate a sewing machine in these fun, project based classes. Beginners with no sewing experience are welcome. Project kits will be provided in each class and there may be an occaisional materials fee. Basic sewing tools and sewing machines are provided. Class projects do not require consecutive attendance. All teens interested in sewing are welcome. Previous sewing experience is not necessary. Teens bring their own projects to work on in a studio environment. Beginners will be taught the basics of sewing machine operation and the first project will be provided. This class is open to all types of sewing including garment making, bags and accessories, home dec projects, restyling, upstyling and alterations.
