In 3 easy lessons, students will learn the basics of sewing machine operation and simple garment construction. Classes are consecutive. Any makeups must be taken at the private lesson fee of $40 per hour. The supply list will be given out in the first class. Adults-max of 5 students.

The focus here is on developing sewing machine mastery and fine sewing skills as you work on the project of your choice in a group setting. It’s a relaxed stress-free class, expertly guided by Capril. You must have some basic sewing experience. Bring your project, sewing tools and your sewing machine.

Learn how to use your serger or just come to have fun. Learn serging techniques such as the chain, cover stitch, making your projects quick and professional. Project included. For all current Husqvarna and Viking sergers. 2 student minimum. Kit Fee $5.

Create a tote that can be used in many ways; a lunch bag, book bag or a daily purse. Try personalizing this tote with the fusible heat tool to attach crystals. You will learn how to machine applique, with your machine stitches, using the zigzag or blanket stitch. This tote can be made in 2 sizes. Angel design and others to choose from.

This is a 27” square wall hanging. It includes a girl holding a flower, surrounded with multicolored triangles, and a border of tulips and vines. The binding is a variegated group of fabrics that are also used in the triangles. You will learn machine applique, some machine quilting, and how to bind this unique wall hanging.

A Project-a-Day

In this fun filled camp, students will learn the basics of sewing machine operation and complete a different project everyday. No previous sewing experience is required. All materials wll be provided—fabric, tools and sewing machines. Students should bring a snack. Maximum 8 students. Ages 9-14.

All Dolled Up

In this camp, girls will sew a simple summer dress for themselves and a matching dress for their popular 18” doll. The basics of machine operation will be reviewed, but previous sewing experience is required. Students will be working from project kits prepared by instructor. Bring basic sewing kit and a snack. Ages 10-14 Maximum 5 students

One session only, August 18-22.

Pajama Party

In this camp for beginners, Kids will make a cool pair of pj pants and a drawstring tote to keep them in. All the basics of sewing machine operation and working with a commercial pattern will be covered. Class size is limited to 5 so the students will get lots of individual help. Basic sewing supplies (see supply list) as well as fabric will be required for this camp and must be purchased before the first day of camp. Students should bring a snack. Ages 12-15.

One session only, July 14-July 18.
